DESCRIPTION:Veterans & Community Housing Coalition will be holding an Open House at Guardian House with a Saratoga Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting for the reopening! \n\n\n\nGuardian House is the only VA funded transitional housing program for homeless female veterans in New York State.  \n\nThis year\, with funding from the VA\, we were able to do major rehabilitation to both Guardian House and the Vet House.  \n\nMichelle Viola Straight Director of Community Relations shared "The VA recognized the difficulty in keeping the veterans safe during COVID.  To prepare for future infectious diseases\, they provided funding to provide each veteran a personal bedroom with their private bathroom."  \n\n \n\nJoin us at 11 AM September 28\, 2022 for a Grand Ribbon cutting and open house. See the future site of Foreverly House and learn more about the unique programs we offer. Guardian house is 1 of 7 homes for homeless female veterans that exist. This is the ONLY VA supported home in NYS. Open House will be from 11 -1 .\n\n \n\nLunch will be provided.
