NORDLYS GLOBAL VOICES SERIES - CAFFE LENA & SPAC PRESENT FARAH SIRAJ TRIO

Saratoga Performing Arts Center and Caffè Lena announced a three-part concert series, Nordlys Global Voices Series, as part of a new programming collaboration featuring original and traditional musicians from non-English-speaking nations. Launched by the two beloved Saratoga venues, the series will kick-off on Saturday, February 10 @ 8 p.m. with Jordanian virtuoso vocalist Farah Siraj (2/10). Farah Siraj is a Jordanian virtuoso vocalist named as Jordan’s musical ambassadress. With a career that has stretched from the Middle East to Europe to the United States, Siraj has performed everywhere from the United Nations to the Nobel Prize Hall to Lincoln Center. Siraj’s original compositions fuse influences of Middle Eastern music, bossa, flamenco, jazz, and pop, among other genres, with lyrics in Arabic, Spanish, and English.
