Living Resources ARTS: Watercolor Classes

Watercolor Classes Art Instructor: Rebecca Peters

This course is for the beginner and even the intermediate art student. The focus will be on mixing colors with a limited palette, working on both wet and dry surfaces and exploring various techniques. Students will learn how to create pleasing compositions. Color references, watercolor paper, simple palettes, paper towels, water containers, blue painters tape and mounting boards will all be provided for the art student.
Students may bring your own watercolor paints and brushes but paints for the beginner will be provided

The Living Resources Arts Program was created twenty years ago to offer individuals with developmental disabilities fine arts classes. Our mission at the gallery is to create a fully-inclusive environment where the people we serve, their advocates, and all members of the community can make art side-by-side. The Beekman Gallery seeks to serve people of all abilities and make art accessible to everyone.
