For millennia all of the trades were dependent on blacksmiths to forge their tools. This class will open the door on these smithing skills while making tools you can use now in the 21st century. We will cover material selection, basic blacksmithing techniques for shaping and heat treating, handle making, as well as sharpening.
 
NOTE:  Hard shoes and long pants are required for student safety.
