This class is designed for students who have had either an introductory chip carving class or who have learned chip carving on their own initiative. Intermediate students will continue with guided instruction; advanced students may bring their own projects and receive instructor guidance. Some projects that will be covered will be chip carved lettering and grids. Students will also have an opportunity to design and execute either a practice board or a plaque carving. The instructor will provide models of both. This class will give students a great opportunity to improve their carving skills and give them a completed piece of their own craftsmanship to take home.

NOTE:  Students must bring pre-purchased chip carving knives and other materials to class as these are not supplied by the instructor. Students are strongly advised to pre-purchase needed materials from the following website: www.mychipcarving.com. Any one of the following "kits" are acceptable: Platinum Edition Advanced or Professional kits, Gold Edition Deluxe or Primary Plus kits. Please avoid purchasing either the Primary or Essentials kits as they do not contain everything needed for our purposes.
