Gala Concert, "Visions of Vienna"

Enjoy a soaring and beautiful evening of romance, song, and story set against the magical but turbulent backdrop of early 1930's Europe with William Ferguson, tenor and Kenneth Merrill, piano. "Visions of Vienna" tells a bittersweet tale of first love and celebrates the vibrant music of European operetta and music-hall composers including Franz Lehar, Johann Strauss, Fritz Kreisler, and Noel Coward. A lakeside reception will feature select delicacies and Austrian wines, music by harpist Lydia Zotta, and Viennese waltzes rendered by the Hyperion String Quartet.
