The Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival is one of the most celebrated and longest-running jazz events in the world. Founded in 1978 by jazz impresario George Wein, the Festival has welcomed some of the biggest names in jazz including Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, B.B. King, Wayne Shorter, and Ray Charles to Saratoga Performing Arts Center. With top jazz talent performing on two stages in the serene environment of Spa State Park, and inside seating capacity of 5,200 and room for many more on its lawn, SPAC is proud to once again host the Festival in 2017 on Saturday, June 24, and Sunday, June 25. Legendary artists and its legendary atmosphere make the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival a can’t-miss event for jazz lovers from within and beyond the Capital Region.
