American Red Cross Fire + Ice Gala

The Fire + Ice Gala is the American Red Cross' signature fundraising event in the greater Capital Region. Much of the funding used throughout the year to provide life-saving services in local communities comes from those who support and attend this special event. The evening's theme “Fire + Ice" serves as a reminder of the disasters the Red Cross responds to most often in our region. Each year, Red Cross workers in Northeastern New York provide help and hope to more than 300 local families affected by home fires, ice storms, and other unexpected catastrophes. Every dollar raised at the 2017 Fire + Ice Gala will be used in our daily efforts to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies like these. The gala benefits the American Red Cross of Northeastern New York Chapter, which serves 9 local counties including Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady and Rensselaer, with offices in Albany and Glens Falls.
