Sundae on the Farm

 Sundae on the Farm will be held on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Kings Ransom Farm, LLC located at 311 King Road, Schuylerville.  The event is free and open to the public.
 
“Sundae on the Farm” is fun and educational for the entire family.   Free events include: tours of the dairy farm, orchard, children’s activities, farm animals, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, agricultural exhibits, and demonstrations by area chefs using local farm products. “Sundae on the Farm” takes place from 12:00 pm through 4:00 pm, and is enjoyed by approximately 3,800 visitors each year.


A Spelling Bee and Stewart’s Ice Cream Eating Contest for children will be featured at the event this year.  The “Sundaes” will feature Stewart’s Ice Cream with hot fudge topping from Sundae’s Best Hot Fudge, maple syrup topping from Maple Valley Farm, and pie a la mode featuring homemade pies from Smith’s Orchard Bake Shop.
