2017 Dake Foundation for Children Stationary Bike Race
The Dake Foundation for Children is a not-for-profit organization in Saratoga Springs, New York that provides grants to local children with disabilities who live within a 50-mile radius of Saratoga Springs, for equipment and services to help promote their independence and participation with their peers.
The Foundation started an annual stationary bike race in 2008 to raise funds to purchase adaptive equipment for local children. We typically grant over $20,000.00 each year in adaptive bicycles to local children with disabilities.
Your support of this annual fundraiser will help us in our mission to give every child a chance to feel the wind in their face as they ride their bike along with friends and family - something many children with disabilities would not otherwise get - as adaptive bicycles can cost up to $5,000.00

Title sponsors will receive mention in the brochure/registration materials as well as electronic promotion and event signage. Race sponsors will receive mention in all electronic promotion (website and Facebook) as well as signage at the event. We appreciate both in-kind and financial donations.

Title Sponsor: $500
Race Sponsor: $300
TEAMS: THERE IS VERY LIMITED SPACE! Each four member team must raise a minimum of $50.00 per member/rider, or $200.00 per team. The more funds we raise, the more bikes we can provide, so don't stop fundraising when you reach the minimum goal. Did we mention there were prizes? The team with the most funds raised will win a prize.
Teams will race relay style for one hour on a stationary bike. Each team member must ride for a minimum of 10 minutes during the 60 minutes of racing. The team with the most miles at the end of the race will win a prize.
Love the cause, but you are spin challenged? Get your friends or coworkers together; raise some money; choose a creative name; sport a wacky outfit; and come have fun with us! There will be prizes for Best Creative Name; Best Costume and Most Team Spirit!
